As part of the next race weekend before the race for the Eiffel Grand Prix at the Nurburgring, Ferrari will test a new aerodynamic package with which the Scuderia wants to do more step forward and get a little closer to the best teams.
According to the German AMuS, Ferrari will bring a new flour and a new rear diffuser to Nurburging, with which they want to increase downforce and stability at the rear of the SF 1000, which is causing a lot of problems for the drivers this year.
Ferrari has already presented some minor updates at the race in Russia, where Charles Leclerc won a solid sixth place.
Team boss Mattia Binotto was particularly pleased with Leclerc’s performance. due to the fact that Ferrari has shown some progress in Sochi.
We have used certain updates in Sochi and although their the effect is not great, we have taken a step in the right direction. We will try some more solutions in Germany and I hope that we will continue to progress and reduce our lag behind the fastest.
