Haas boss Guenther Steiner, after confirming that both current racers Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen are leaving the US team at the end of the season, revealed that the American team will look for drivers with talent and money.

The Haas team today confirmed that it will be in entered in the 2021 F1 season with a brand new racing line-up, and team boss Guenther Steiner revealed that he broke the news to Grosjean and Magnussen last week in a telephone conversation.

“We have decided that we want some changes, because as you know, this year has been exceptional for all of us,” he said.

“Now we need to look at the situation, how we are progressing with the budget ceiling, where we can best invest our money and what our goals are. We already have to start preparations for the season 2022. There are quite a few opportunities that will not go away, as this year the market is quite small and consequently there is no hurry with the decision. Ideally, you would find a racer who has the skill and the money. Skill is very important, but it is even better if the racer brings a sponsor with him. We are currently studying all options. ”
