Brajnik magazine 4th 381 Km long Formula 1 course. Last year he was on the podium in all three races and was even able to win the first run. He was able to repeat this success this year in the first race on Saturday and won ahead of Oliver Michl (F-Racing) and Daniel Tapinos (Franz Wöss Racing) with his Dallara F 308 – 311 Mugen. Shortly before the starting up, a part of the side box on Matej Kacovsky’s Dallara (HKC Racing) caught fire, forced the Czechs to give up prematurely.
In wet conditions and a sometimes very slippery track, the second run took place on Sunday. First Paolo Brajnik spun and retired early because the engine failed. Thereupon Matej Kacovsky sat in the Dallara F 308 from the first row in the lead and held it to the finish. The Czech controlled the field during the 10 – lap distance and drove with 26, 318 seconds out a comfortable lead. Behind him, Daniel Tapinos came second. The Greek climbed 2020 for the first time on the podium and was able to place Oliver Michl on the third Oust set up. Formula 3 returnees Antonin SUS (Franz Wöss Racing) got along well straight away and was able to look forward to fourth place twice.
In of the Formula 3 Trophy classification was won by Prof. Dr. Ralph Pütz (Franz Wöss Racing) the necessary points for overall victory. Benjamin Berta (F-Racing) didn’t miss anything in Formula 4 and scored a one-two at home. Patrick Schober (Procar Motorsport) missed his chance to get closer to the Hungarian.
In Formula Renault, Dr. Norbert Groer performed well with two podium places and was able to extend his lead in the table. Local hero Oliver Michl got the full number of points, but he is still behind Dr. Norbert Groer.
