The Frenchman Victor Bernier set the clear best time in the 1st free coaching of the ADAC Formula 4 at the DEKRA Lausitzring. The 16 – year-old from Team R-ace GP drove a lap time of 2 on the long version of the Brandenburg track in very wet conditions: 10, 408 minutes and struggle with it 0, 646 seconds faster than the Finn Elias Seppänen.

Kirill Smal from Russia got 0, 850 Seconds behind his team-mate third in front of ADAC Sports Foundation pilot Tim Tramnitz. The man from Hamburg has a good chance of winning the title in the rookie classification this weekend.

The two championship favorites Jonny Edgar and Jak Crawford held out at the beginning of the penultimate race weekend of the season back. Crawford was fifth, over two seconds behind Bernier, while his Van Amersfoort team-mate Edgar was ninth. The session was temporarily interrupted with a red flag triggered by Han Cenyu. The Chinese language makes its debut in the ADAC high-speed school this weekend and also drives for Van Amersfoort Racing.

The second coaching of ADAC Formula 4 at the Lausitzring begins at 11. 05 o’clock, in the afternoon the two qualifying sessions are on the program. The three races go on Saturday (16. 00 clock) and Sunday (09. 00 clock and 12. 30 o’clock) across the stage.
