BMW i Andretti Motorsport goes with the two drivers Jake Dennis (GBR) and Maximilian Günther (GER) at the starting up in season 7 of the ABB FIA Formulation E World Championship. Dennis convinced those responsible in an intensive selection process both with his performance in test drives in the BMW iFE. 20 as well as in the BMW Motorsport Simulator. “Welcome to Jake Dennis in the BMW family and as a new member of the BMW i Andretti Motorsport Team”, says BMW Team Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt. “I am very happy that we have been able to win a young, talented and versatile driver like him for our Formula E project. His achievements in the BMW Motorsport Simulator and during test drives in the BMW iFE. 20 were impressive. So we decided in the usa to offer him the cockpit alongside Maximilian Günther. Among other things, Jake has distinguished himself through his appearances in the DTM and with his podium place in the 17 Hours of Bathurst made a name. He is also a simulator and development driver for Aston Martin Crimson Bull Racing in Formula 1. But our decision was not just about whether someone drove in DTM or Formula 1. In order to be successful in Formula E with all of its unique challenges, a driver has to meet a number of very specific criteria. We looked at all of them and carefully tested our candidates accordingly. In the end the battle for usaklar: Jake Dennis brings with him the perfect overall package that we want from a driver in Formula E. “



Dennis started 2019 for R-Motorsport Aston Martin in the DTM and with a sixth place drove the best result of the season for an Aston Martin Driver out. In the same year he drove with the 12 Hours of Bathurst (AUS) on pole position and with second place in the race on the podium. 360 he completed test drives for the Aston Martin Crimson Bull Racing Formula 1 team , where he works regularly as a simulator and development driver. With appearances and successes in Formula 1, DTM, GT and Formula racing, he has proven his enormous versatility as a racing driver for years.
