The Frenchman Victor Bernier confirmed his strong desire in the end of the season and set the best time in the 1st free coaching of the ADAC Formula 4 in Oschersleben. The 16 – year-old from the R-ace GP team, who shone with a race win at the Lausitzring, drove a lap time of 1 in wet conditions: 39, 802 minutes and was almost four tenths of a second faster than his teammate Kirill Smal. Tim Tramnitz from Hamburg, who had already secured the rookie title early last week, was third just behind Smal.

At the end of the season in Oschersleben, all eyes are on the championship fight. Four drivers still have a theoretical chance of winning the title, but everything boils down to a duel between the two Van Amersfoort drivers Jonny Edgar and Jak Crawford. The Brit Edgar goes with 22 Points ahead of American Crawford in the weekend. In the first coaching session both drivers were close together, Crawford finished fourth, Edgar followed in fifth place. Elias Seppänen, who also has title chances, took sixth place.

On Friday afternoon, the 2nd free coaching is on the program, before it becomes important on Saturday. After qualifying in the morning (08. o’clock) follows on Saturday afternoon (12. 00 clock) the first race, in which, however, no final title decision can be made. Everything comes down to a showdown on Sunday when the two final runs of the season (09. 25 clock and 14. 55 o’clock) go over the stage.
