BMW i Andretti Motorsport has the official test drives before the season 7 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship at the “Circuit Ricardo Tormo” in Valencia (ESP) successfully completed. Maximilian Günther (GER) and Jake Dennis (GBR) shot more than 500 rounds.

As in the previous year, Günther achieved the best time of the week. On Tuesday he circled in his BMW iFE. 21 the course in 1: 11, 760 minutes. Dennis finished his first official outing as a BMW i Andretti Motorsport driver with a fastest time of 1: 12, 047 minutes.

In addition to the usual program, there was also a complete program Racing simulation. It served to control all processes with a view to the planned start of the season on 16 ./ 17. January 2020 in Santiago de Chile.

Roger Griffiths (Team Principal BMW i Andretti Motorsport): “All in all, I am very satisfied with how the check went. It’s always nice to be at the top of the timesheet at the end, but there are no points in the championship for that. The only thing that matters is what we’ve achieved here in the past few days, and in fact we haven’t had any delays or reliability issues. Maximilian Günther was obviously able to take the drag he had in season 6 with him into the new season. We are also very pleased with the progress that Jake Dennis has made during the assessment. He gave us a very good feedback, and his drag quickly reached a high level. “

Maximilian Günther (# 28 BMW iFE. 21): “Of course it is trim To have set the weekly best time again, as in the previous year, even if lap times on the previous test days were not the focus. We have fully concentrated on following our program, which has been very successful. We had already worked very hard and well in advance of this check. Here in Valencia we took the opportunity to try out different things with the new vehicle. I think we did a very good job. “

Jake Dennis (# 27 BMW iFE. 17): “I think we can with our performance during these test days be very satisfied. The car seems to be working fine. Personally, I was able to adjust to the special requirements in Formula E very quickly. I was able to get used to both the instruments and all the other processes, so that I now feel much better prepared for the first races in Santiago. Now I’m really looking forward to my racing premiere in January. “
