Spherical 5 of the 2021 FIA European Historic Rally Championship will seemingly be held in Finland with the host city of Lahti providing the ideal gravel event on the calendar.  The gravel tracks thru the Finnish forests, surrounded by freshwater lakes, present the competitors with one of potentially the most worrying challenges on any rally in the realm.

A total of 29 automobiles are entered for the 2021 Lahti Historic Rally, with a tiny contingent of EHRC eligible automobiles among them.  2019 FIA European Historic Carrying Rally Championship Crew Champions Historic Rally Club Finland are successfully represented for their residence event with 13 automobiles on the entry.

Audi, Opel, Peugeot, Skoda, Toyota entered in Class 4

Of the 10 Class 4 entries, 3 are eligible to score championship elements. 

Finland’s Ville Silvasti and Risto Pietilainen are the leading EHRC entry in the no101 Audi quattro A2.  Silvasti is for the time being 3rd in the championship standings on 46 elements, 26 at the back of Rallye Weiz winner Daniel Alonso, the Spaniard electing to fail to see the event in Finland.

Jukka Aromaa and Asko Sairanen will seemingly be starting their first EHRC rally of the 2021 season in the no122 Skoda Favorit 136L, with fellow Finns Matti Tarvainen and Rauno Hurskainen also taking portion in their first rally of the season in the Historic Rally Club Finland flee no129 Skoda Favorit 136L.

The comfort of the Class 4 entry contains an all Finnish entry, that contains yet every other Audi quattro A2, an Opel Manta B 2.0E, a Mercedes Benz 190 2.3 16v, a Toyota Corolla GT, yet every other Skoda Favorit 136L, making three entries for the Czech automobile, and a Peugeot 205 GTi. 

Audi, Ford, Opel, Porsche, Talbot, Vaz and in Class 3

The Class 3 entry for the Lahti Historic Rally will feature 9 automobiles.

With the winners of the hole four rounds of the 2021 season, ‘Zippo’ and Denis Piceno, deciding to fail to see the worrying gravel rally in Finland, it’s some distance a golden different for others to bewitch the prime space with the no117 Volvo 244 of Germany’s Siegfried and Renate Mayr, who finished 2nd in Austria closing day out, taking up the problem.

Britain’s Ernie and Karen Graham are for the time being third in the EHRC Class 2 championship desk with 46 elements after ending 2d in Austria.  With Paolo Pasutti (62 pts) and Laszlo Mekler (57 pts) electing to fail to see the rally in Finland, this would be Ernie Graham’s golden different to shut the gap in the no109 Ford Escort RS1800.  

Class 4 winners on the 2019 Lahti Historic Rally Will Graham and Michael Johnston will seemingly be competing in their first rally of the 2021 season.  Worship his of us, Will Graham will seemingly be competing in a Class 2 Ford Escort, his automobile an RS1600.

The Class 2 entry list can even feature a Ford Escort 1300GT, a Toyota Corolla, a Datsun 100A and a Triumph TR7.

Alfa Romeo, BMW and VW in Class 1

The Class 1 entry for the Lahti Historic Rally will feature three automobiles, with one eligible for championship elements.

Finland’s Teuvo Hamalainen and Pirjo Rosberg will seemingly be making their first EHRC commence of the 2021 season, the Finns competing in the Historic rally Club Finland flee no130 Alfa Romeo Giulietta t.i.

The entry list for Class 1 can even feature a BMW 2002 Ti and a Volkswagen 1500S.
