MercedesA class: Worth of buying? Without a doubt, we can say that the A-Class is currently the smallest among Mercedes only in terms of letters, not in terms of content.

Mercedes-Benz continues to successfully renovate its models. After first tackling larger (and new) models, it’s now the turn of the smallest. But recent year’s renovation of the A-Class is so thorough that we can’t really talk about the entry-level model anymore. Mercedesa is nov Mercedes with Capital A.

It will be necessary to get used to the new Class A design. Mainly because of the rear lights or the rear of the whole, which seems to be too general and visible in any other car. But this is true until the moment you realize that the shape is such a purpose – that it is such that the car is set with the lowest coefficient of air resistance (CX = 0.25) in the class. Then you don’t have to stink over form anymore, do you?

With A-class, the Germans still want to address young customers and those who are young at heart. And if ever, then the latter will make a good move – the youthful look of a car with content that would be the envy of many larger and more expensive cars.

MBUX – Mercedesa-Benz User Experience. The central screen (which combines gauges and a center screen and is available in three sizes) looks great, but is practical, as for the first time ever in Mercedes, the center is a touch screen center. At the same time (extra charge) is taken care of for those who do not like to operate the screen with their fingers – either because it gets dirty, or because it is too far for them or it is difficult to hit the desired virtual key while driving. A new touchpad has been added to the center console between the seats, which can also be used to operate the screen. It will take some practice, but first impressions are good. If some brands have already offered a similar solution before Mercedes, this one seems by far the best. But that’s not all, there is the option to control the screen (and other functions of the car) with buttons on the steering wheel. The A also has small touchpads between the buttons and operating them is simple and above all logical. And if that’s not enough for you, you can pay extra and talk to the system. You activate it with the greeting ‘Hey Mercedes’, then talk to him in colloquial language.

The whole remaining image of the interior also impresses. Of course, thanks to just one big screen, different spatial solutions were available that Mercedes designers grabbed with both hands. Interesting are the vents that emphasize sportiness, on the other hand, the center console brings elegance. Commendably, the ventilation control buttons are separate from the main screen and elegantly placed under the center vents. The car sits above average and an inexperienced driver would find it hard to figure out that he is driving in such a small car.
