Damon Hill had enough Lewis Hamilton fans complaining that the world title had been taken from the seven-time world champion by the FIA at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. According to the former Formula 1 driver, it is time to put the topic aside and accept the results.
The 1996 World Champion made his opinion clear on Twitter. He said Hamilton fans should help themselves by getting through it. He said: Sticking with frustration is not a solution.
Hill hopes Hamilton will return to Formula 1 in 2022 and be able to once again blow away his rivals on the track. It remains unclear whether the Mercedes driver actually entered the W13. Hamilton is said to not decide on his future Formula 1 career until the FIA concludes its investigation into the racing committee’s conduct at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
