Former Mercedes and World Champion 2016 Nico Rosberg revealed before the Hungarian GP race that according to his information, Esteban Ocon will be in 2020 at Mercedes replaced Valtteri Bottas.
After Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff said that only Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Ocon remain in the fight for the Mercedes seat next season, Nico Rosberg revealed before the Hungarian GP race that Mercedes had already been make the final decision.
Rosberg told RTL:
From reliable sources within the team, I can reveal that a decision has already been made. Ocon will replace Bottas next year.
