After years of speculation, McLarn has confirmed that the legendary British brand, in collaboration with the Schmidt Peterson team, will compete in all races of the upcoming season of the US IndyCar series.
After the great disappointment that Mclaren and his team experienced in this year's 500 mile race of Indianapolis, with Fernando Alonso already qualifying , Mclaren is returning to the famed racing series earlier this year. The legendary British brand will join forces with the team of Schmidt Peterson Motorsport for which James Hinchcliffe and Marcus Ericsson race, and Mclaren will compete in all races of the new Indy season.
The new team whose race cars will be colored in the traditional McLarn's orange color will be called Schrowt Peterson's Arrow McLaren Racing and Honda's engines will be replaced by McLaren's partner Chevrolet.
