Applications for the 2020 Idemitsu ATC are now closed

Applications for the 2020 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup are now closed, with hundreds of young applicants from across Asia and Oceania having applied to become part of the Road to MotoGP™. The registration period ran from the 5th July to the 11th August, during which time prospective riders were invited to apply online at www.asiatalentcup.com for the chance to get an invite to the Selection Event.

More than 400 riders from 19 different countries have applied this season. Now, the next step is choosing those who will be invited to the Selection Event at Sepang International Circuit on the 29th and 30th October. That shortlist of riders will be announced on 10th September.

At the Selection Event, the prospective competitors will have their abilities on track and their attitude off track tested out. A final decision on who will join the 2020 IATC grid will then be made, before those selected undergo an intensive winter program of preparation to get ready to race.
