Leclerc managed to climb Ferrari's racing seat in his second season in Formula One after impressing with his performance at Sauber in his first season. At the beginning of the season, I think one of my problems was the pace on qualifying. I was struggling at qualifying, I put a lot of effort into it, and I think some races have improved a lot.
Leclerc sees his advantage in rhythm in racing, but he plans to keep trying and improve all the time:
“I think I have a pretty good rhythm in racing from the beginning. However, there are definitely some things I can improve and will continue to do so for the rest of my career. You can always improve. I think that in the field of optimization of car settings, I can still improve. It will come with experience, but I need to test and understand the car more so that I can better lead the engineers in the right direction. “
