Charles Leclerc revealed that he would not have spoken a word with Max Verstappen a few years ago, when both were racing in the lower race categories.

Leclerc and Verstappen were big rivals at a young age, and they also transferred their rivalry to Formula 1. The Ferrari racer points out that both have grown up in the meantime, and as a result their communication has improved recently.

Leclerc described his relationship with Verstappen as Corriere della Sera :

When we were a kid, we wouldn't say a word, because at that time we hadn't yet made a distinction between racing and private life. We are much more mature now and our relationship is much better. Although we want to beat each other on the track, we can talk normally after the race.

Verstappen: There's Leclerc ahead of us 15 to 20 track fights
