Lewis Hamilton has taken to social media to take the invitation of current motorcycle champion Marc Marquez, who has challenged the five-time Formula One World Champion on both two and four wheels.
Five-time MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez has revealed that he wants to compete with Lewis Hamilton on both the MotoGP and Formula One motorcycles.
Lewis Hamilton, a big fan of the MotoGP Championship, has repeatedly said that he wants to try motorcycle racing in the future, while Marc Marquez is already behind the wheel of a Formula One car.
The Spanish superstar admitted before the Silverstone race that he would be happy to compete with Hamilton in a direct showdown.
Of course, I'd be interested in a showdown with Hamilton. First she would go with the F1 car and then the motorcycle. I know he is passionate about motorcycle racing and I think he would accept the challenge. Last year I tried out a Formula One car and quickly found the right rhythm, but of course I lack experience. I'm sure she would have made a real spectacle with Lewis.
Hamilton responded to the Spaniard's invitation with a short post on Instagram:
“Let's do it!”
