Alfa Romeo's reserve racer Marcus Ericsson will not compete in the upcoming IndyCar race in Portland, as Alfa called a Swedish racer for a race at Spa Francorchamps due to an alleged injury to Kimmy Raikkonen.
Ericsson's arrival at Spa Francorchamps prompted a lot of speculation in Formula One caravans, according to sources inside the Alfa Romeo team, who called the Hinwill Swede team for a minor leg injury sustained by Kimi Raikkonen recently.
According to current information, Raikkonen will try to practice in free practice tomorrow, and in the event of problems, Finc will be replaced by Marcus Ericsson over the weekend.
