Charles Leclerc [Ferrari] overcame all competition with a sovereign performance and celebrated a major victory in the Belgian GP at Spa Francorchamps. Monacan maintained a small lead at the end of the race and celebrated his first victory in Formula 1. Lewis Hamilton [Mercedes] came second and British teammate Valtteri Bottas was third.
The Formula 1 race for the Belgian GP passed in the wake of yesterday's tragic event when a young Formula 2 racer, Anthoine Hubert, lost his life after a serious accident in the Formula 2 race.
With a great race, Leclerc maintained a poor second of advantage over Lewis Hamilton, who had to settle for second place, and took third place to Mercedes by Valtteri Bottas. [Renault]

For the top three, Sebastian Vettel [Ferrari] finished the race and Alexander Albon [Red Bull] finished fifth.
The sixth was Sergio Perez [Racing Point], who eventually got the showdown with Daniil Kvyat [Toro Rosso]. Nico Hulkenberg [Renault] came in eighth place, with Pierre Gasly [Toro Rosso] and Lance Stroll [Racing Point] among the top ten.
Max Verstappen finished the race for the GP of Belgium after colliding with Kimmy Raikkonen in the first round.

Charles Leclerc started off the pole position sovereignly, while Lewis Hamilton overtook Sebastian Vettl in the first corner. Poor start by Max Verstappen, who then ran into Kimmy Raikkonen when entering the first corner. The Dutch Red Bull was badly injured after the collision and Verstappen finished the race at Spa Francorchamps after a few turns.

In the meantime, Vettel took advantage of the leeway and, at the end of the Kemmel Plain, made it through to second place, with Hamilton holding the lead over Valtteri Bottas. Raikkonen slid to the start of the start line and hit the track with a security car. In the next lap, Carlos Sainz finished the race too early, and the safety car consequently stayed a lap longer.

With all the confusion at the start of the race, Lando Norris came in fifth place, followed by both Haas racers. With a few quick laps, Charles Leclerc was soon able to secure a few seconds of advantage, while Lewis Hamilton followed Sebastian Vettl for a good second.
Vettel was the first runner up in the . started making boxing stops while both Leclerc and the two Mercedes racers remained on the track. Vettel, at a very fast pace, soon made up for his lag behind Leclerc. Monachan boxed in . lap and return to the track for his teammate.
Hamilton came to the box later, but with a slow stop he lost quite some time. The Brit came back in third place, after the stops, was run by Sebastian Vettel.
Charles Leclerc quickly approached his team mate with his fresh tires, and at Ferrari, the German was ordered to let Leclerc down the front, which Vettel also thoughtlessly did. Vettle was soon approached by Lewis Hamilton, who is a Ferrari racer in 16. passed the circle on the Kemmel Plain and crossed to another place.

Vettla then attacked Bottas and the Ferrari racer circles before the end a second time started changing tires.
At the end of the race, Hamilton was approaching Charles Leclerc, but Monacan managed to maintain a small advantage, and Monacan celebrated the first victory of his career. Second place went to Lewis Hamilton and third to Valtteri Bottas.
Antonio Giovinazzi stepped down in the final lap after the collision and Lando Norris finished shortly before the end of the race, finishing fifth with a resounding finish.
