The sad news came from Spa Francorchamps that Formula 2 racer Anthoine Hubert had succumbed to injuries after a violent collision with Juan Manuel Correa.
The FIA has officially confirmed that the young Renault racer died at the hospital at 18: 35, well over a fatal accident on the Track in Spa. .
On leaving Exit Rouge, Hubert lost control of his race car, collided with a guardrail, then struck Correa, who is still in hospital, at more than 300 miles per hour. but should be in stable condition
The Formula 2 race on the Spa Francorchamps track was irrevocably canceled following the horrific accident in the second round of the race in the Eau Rouge and Raidillon bend sections.
