Juan Manuel Correa with broken bones and spine but in stable condition
The young Alfa Romeo racer Juan Manuel Correa, who suffered a severe collision with the tragically deceased Anthoin Hubert in yesterday's race, has already undergone several surgeries at a hospital in Lieg and is in stable condition.
On leaving the Eua Rouge, the tragically deceased Hubert lost control of his race car, collided with a guardrail, then struck Correa at more than 300 miles per hour. who is still in the hospital and undergoing intensive care. The young Ecuadorian racer was immediately taken to the hospital by helicopter and was conscious throughout the transport.
Correa suffered multiple bone fractures in both legs and a minor spine fracture. The FIA has officially confirmed that his medical condition is stable and the young racer is recovering from intensive care.
