There has been speculation in the Italian press that Sebastian Vettl could be replaced by Daniel Ricciardo after Ferrari's German contract of the year 2021.
While Sebastian Vettel is facing a number of problems this season, the young Charles Leclerc is increasingly coming to the fore with Ferrari. With two victories in the last two races, Monacan has proven that he can fight for the top, most notably the Italian public has already declared him the first Scuderie racer.
There has already been speculation in the Italian press that the unlikely Sebastian Vettl could be replaced by Renault racer Daniel Ricciardo. Both Vettel and Ricciardo have contracts with their respective teams for the next season, and according to Gazzette dello Sport, Ricciardo could occupy Vettel's seat in the season 2021, when Charles Leclerc would also formally become the first Maranell team racer.
