Red Bull's Chief Advisor Dr Helmut Marko is pleased with the progress recently made by Japan's Honda, and the Austrian expects Honda to make yet another specification of the powertrain that will bring it to the Suzuki race a step further and finally caught up with Mercedes and Ferrari.
After some worse Red Bull racing, Marko announces a fight for victory in Japanese Suzuki.
“We made a mistake before the season started by underestimating the progress of Mercedes and Ferrari. We did not expect that they could improve so much. Even so, we are not far behind in being caught. Honda will bring a heavily updated fourth powertrain specification to Suzuka, which we expect to completely eliminate the lag behind Mercedes and Ferrari. At the same time, we will have new fuel and we want to win in Suzuki. We have seen the numbers and we are very optimistic. “
