Flavio Briatore, longtime manager of Fernando Alonso, revealed that the two-time Formula One World Champion trusted him to return to the fastest circus with only one of the top three F1 teams.
Alonso left Formula 1 after the end of last season, and it has long been rumored that Alonso wants to return to the start of the elite motorsport class.
Briatore is convinced that the Spaniard's return is only possible under certain conditions.
“We spoke with Fernando about his return to F1. He will only return if he gets an offer from Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull. Everything else is a waste of time for him. In the event of a return, he wants to fight for the title and currently only three teams can do it. ”
