World Champion of the Season 2016 Nico Rosberg of McLaren team driver Carlos Sainz is ranked among the top three Formula One racers by current form.
Sainz's impressive season saw a new climax at Interlagos after the Spaniard won his first career podium and first for Mclaren in a year 2014.
Sainz climbed all live fourth on Sunday after starting from last place and, after Hamilton's penalty, finished third overall.
Former F1 racer Nice Rosberg has been impressed by the Spaniard's form this season:
“Sainz has an amazing season behind him. I always said that he and Leclerc were among the top four racers of the year. So Leclerc, Sainz, Verstappen and Hamilton. At the moment, he might put Hamilton in the first place, though he and Verstappen are almost equal. In my opinion, Sainz is now the third name of the season, just before Leclerc. “
