Esteban Ocon is not surprised by Charles Leclerc's good season, which he was convinced would defeat his teammate Sebastian Vettl at Ferrari.
Ocon, who is returning to Formula One's startup next year at the wheel of Renault, always believed that Charles Leclerc would have no trouble adjusting to the Ferrari's car.
Charles deserves what is happening to him, and for me this is not the slightest surprise. I knew he could fight for victories if he had a good car and he did. I have been racing against him in various categories throughout my career and I know how good a racer he is. I knew before the season that he would beat Vettle as well.
