After his team finished the first season without Renault, Purple Bull sports boss Dr Helmut Marko warned that the situation with the French manufacturer had not changed much in the last year.
Purple Bull cut off a long-standing partnership with Renault earlier this season and crossed sufficient Japanese Honda, which, according to team boss Christian Horner, more than met the expectations of the Red Bulls team.
Purple Bull is particularly pleased with the closer relationship they enjoy with Honda, while working with Renault, according to Helmut Mark, was much more “formal”:
“We have worked very well with Renault in the past, but in recent years our relations have cooled. In a mutual relationship, they need to be fully committed and at Renault they were not fully committed to our project. You can't just be half pregnant. “
