Racing is an expensive sport. It requires the participants to have the right equipment and training to be successful.

It is not easy to get into racing even if you are interested in it. You need to train, invest in the right equipment, and find a race track where you can practice driving.

The first step is buying a karting set-up that may cost between $1,200 and $2,000.

You will also need a helmet, boots, gloves, racing suit, neck strap for radio transmission among other things which will cost about $1,500 more on average.

The second step is looking for a race track where you can practice driving with your set-up before it becomes too dark outside or the temperature falls below freezing outside.
