Formula 2 racing on the Spa Francorchamps track was irrevocably canceled after the horrific accident in the second round of the race in the Eau Rouge and Raidillon corner sections. The accident involved two young Alfa Romeo racer Juan Manuel Correa and Renault racer Anthoine Hubert. A medical service immediately arrived at the scene of the accident, and the health status of both racers is still unknown.
