Three racers received a warning after qualifying farce
Following a bizarre turn of events at the end of the qualifying rounds, Fia called three racers, but Nico Hulkenberg, Carlos Sainz and Lance Stroll only took it with a warning.
Just before the end of the qualifiers, a rarely-seen event happened, because of the tacticization and search of the wind, almost all racers encountered a temporary lock.
Fia identified Nico Hulkenberg, Carlos Sainz and Lance Stroll as the main culprits for the incident, which he also called for defense.
The commissioners issued a warning to all three racers, urging the Fio to clearly define the rules as soon as possible in such situations, which would prevent similar incidents in the future.
Hulkenberg, Sainz and Stroll will thus retain their starting places, and Fia has decided not to punish anyone for the qualifying farce in Monza.
