Formula 3 youngster Alex Peroni, who suffered a horrific accident at a Formula 3 race Sunday, has already left San Gerardo Hospital near the racetrack, but will still have to miss the end of this year's F3 season due to a longer recovery.
There was a new horrific accident at the Formula 3 race in Monza, which fortunately ended with no consequences. Alex Peroni first hit one of the curbs in Parabolica, then literally flew over the guardrail.
“Peroni suffered a vertebral fracture in an accident, and surgeons did not opt for surgery but prescribed a young racer a month of strict rest. Peroni will thus miss the finale of this year's F3 season, which will be held in Sochi in late September. “
