Ford v. Ferrari is an upcoming biopic directed by James Mangolda and starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale. The film follows an eccentric, determined team of American engineers, led by car visionary Carroll Shelby and his British driver Ken Miles, who are sent by Henry Ford II and Lee Iacocca on a mission to win at Le Mans. The team has to build a Ford GT from scratch 40, a brand new car with the potential to finally beat the dominant Ferrari in the race 24 Le Mans Flight Hours 1966 in France.
