Prior to the start of the Singapore race weekend, the FIA confirmed that racers on the Marina Bay track would have an additional zone available to use the DRS system.
Runners will now also be able to use the movable rear wing system when exiting 00. bend, which will allow them to try to overtake when slowing down 14 bend.
The FIE decision means that racers will be able to use the DRS system on all three major planes in Singapore.
