Marini will be joined by Bezzecchi in the Moto2™ setup, with Migno becoming Vietti’s teammate in the lightweight class

Ahead of the Gran Premio Michelin® de Aragon, SKY Racing Team VR46 have confirmed their Moto2™ and Moto3™ rider line-ups for the 2020 season.

Luca Marini will be joined by fellow VR46 Academy rider Marco Bezzecchi on a Kalex Moto2™ chassis next season, while current Moto3™ rookie of the year Celestino Vietti will have Andrea Migno alongside him on a KTM in the lightweight class ranks.

Pablo Nieto – Team Manager: “We are proud to say that in 2020 the Sky Racing Team VR46 will once again on track with 4 bikes in 2 categories, with 4 of the most interesting and talented young Italian riders. A choice made for strengthening the team spirit, a constructive work atmosphere and the mutual help with the confirmations of Luca and Celestino, the arrival of Marco and the return of Andrea. Two teams of fast and experts riders ready to impress everyone and give us many emotions. From a technical point of view, we have made a choice driven by the stability and solidity of the relationships of mutual trust that, over the years, we have built extending our existing partnerships with KTM and Kalex.”

Marco Bezzecchi: “I am really happy with this beautiful opportunity: I arrived in the World Championship thanks to the support of the VR46 Riders Academy and today being able to join this Team, so tied to this reality, makes me very proud. This second season in Moto2 will be a challenge and I will give my best to be able to repay everyone for this kind of trust.”

Andrea Migno: “They were two challenging and, at the same time, formative years: I learned a lot and this helped me to grow as a rider and also as a person. When they had presented me the opportunity to return in this Team, it was like being told that it was the time to go back at Home. It was an incredible feeling, I will return to the Family where I have made my debut in the World Championship, a Team that always try to improve itself. I want to thank Sky and VR46 for giving me this new opportunity.”
