Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff believes that Ferrari's resurgence in recent races is not related to the new update package, but rather to the fact that the Maranella team has a much better understanding of the performance of its car lately.
Ferrari, on the slow track in Singapore, was somewhat surprisingly celebrating a double win, with Mercedes boss Toto Wolff bettering Scuderie's shape, attributing more to better settings than new updates.
I do not think Ferrari's good form has anything to do with the updates they brought to Singapore. From the very beginning they have a very good package, and in the last period they have a much better understanding of the performance of the car itself, which enables them to have more optimal settings. I would not say they are invincible, but they are extremely strong in qualifying. Looking at what was going on in the race itself, we can see that their rhythm was not so strong, but their incredible powertrain allows them more room to adjust.
