Former Formula 1 racer and BBC columnist Joylon Palmer thinks Sebastian Vettl's victory in Singapore was extremely important to him as well as to the entire Ferrari.
Sebastian Vettel celebrated his first victory in over a year in Singapore. Palmer is convinced that the German was in bloody need of victory, as he had regained his already high self-esteem.
The British wrote in his BBC column:
Vettel won a bit unexpectedly in Singapore, but he and the entire Ferrari team were in dire need of this victory, as his confidence had already been greatly soured. Sebastian looked very good after a long time, and that's what Ferrari wants. Ferrari confirmed that they were considering switching places, but the fact is that they also wanted Vettel wins.
