Kimi Raikkonen is currently by far the oldest Formula 1 racer, and the Finn also broke the record for the number of starts in the elite motorsport class at the Nurburgring, owned for many years by Rubens Barrichello.

The Finnish veteran has been supported by his personal trainer Mark Arnall for many years, who admits that he himself did not believe that Raikkonen will be at 41. years still racing in Formula 1.

»Kimi has a strong character trait that is very important. It can cope with falls, but on the other hand, it can also celebrate good moments. I never thought his career would last that long. In fact, I thought he would be much shorter, but I always believed he would be a world champion – he was too fast and had too much talent to not be. I also couldn’t imagine the fearless young nutcase I started working with to ever have children and settle down, but even seeing him as a father is also remarkable. ”
