Max sure likes his 3’s. While being the nr. 33 he’s in 3rd place while finishing on average in 3.33 position and being friends with the driver who has the nr. 3.

level 2

Well, according to a short documentary I just watched on YouTube (following him when he first entered F1), 3 is his lucky number. If it wasn’t for DR already driving with that number, he would have picked it. He did argue that 33 might be double lucky for him.

I’d be interested to see ‘result of crash,’ split into ‘Driver caused crash,’ and victim of crash. Obviously this might become a tad subjective when it came to categorizing racing incidents but I think it would be interesting to see who the most unlucky driver is.

level 2

Germany helps top up the drivers caused crash tab, but of the top of my head Stroll is the most unlucky driver because Norris crashed into him at Spain and that’s his only DNF (Though it can be argued that steoll turned in on Norris)

level 1

Pretty sure there was a race where they retired Grosjean because of an issue with Magnussen’s car that mught also be present in his. Might be France, might have been last year, idk it’s hard to keep track of Grosjean DNFs

level 2

That must of been another year cause KMags only retirement came from crashing into (or being crashed into) by Grosjean

level 1

So. Kvyat is closer to Gasly in terms avg race position (or even Kimi or Hülk), then Gasly is to Ver. Ouch

level 1

There were three races where only Grosjean was the one not to be classified as a finisher, Bahrain, France and Hungary. Without him retiring we could have seen four races where everyone finished

Hamilton and Verstappen are the only two drivers to have finished all the laps possible this year. Vettel is one lap behind them.
