In the 50’s mostly of the drivers were form 30 to 45 yo, with exception of Moss who was in their 20’s so probably was in the same case.
In fact, Froilan González, when he won his first victory for him and Ferrari was 29 yo, when the rest of GP winners were over 30yo.
