[OT] Moto GP last lap battle – Austrian GP 2019

With eight laps remaining we had Dovi leading with Marquez on his tail. With two laps remaining Marquez took the lead. Dovi kept following closely. On the last corner Dovi made the winning move. Those guys had no more than 0.5s gap between them for the last eight laps.

I’ve been watching F1 on and off since 2008, but religiously since 2017. The thing I hate the most is when an overtake happens, the car in front will disappear into the distance. No following, no battle for the retake. Old scenes from 70’s, 80’s and 90’, show a different story. Really hope the changing back to ground effect bring back the slipstreams.
