The overall stance on Leclerc is that he should be keeping up with Vettel in the same way Gasly should. And Leclerc has arguably already surpassed that goal, even beating Seb in some situations during the year. He’s not perfect yet, and needs some experience to be better.
Nobody, not even you, can flat out beat a 4x WDC in their second season in F1. He’s getting as close as he could hope for. So he’s doing great.
