It’s the perfect situation for Kimi. He has nothing to prove, he’s won the WDC, he knows he’s a great driver. Now he gets to really race every week with maybe 10% of the PR bullshit that he would have to do with Ferrari, Redbull, Mercedes.

I mean without him they would officially be second to last in the WCC right now.

Kimi is just helping his old team to get back to top of the midfield.

Top bloke Kimi.

French Ron seems happy. Kimi is a top bloke.

The last Ferrari Race winner and World Champion. ?

I wonder if a top team would poach him for 2020..

I don’t think he’d accept their offer tbh. He seem to enjoy the low stakes, close racing environment at Alfa.

Sauber last year was second to Red Bull in the development race. They went to second to last to almost best of the midfield in less than a year. This year if they keep their development rate (it seems Kimi gives good feedback) I wonder if they can challenge McLaren and Renault seriously. They have good money know with Alfa Romeo?

The 2018 performance gain also had a lot to do with the fact that they weren’t using a year old engines anymore (like they did in 2017)
