So this car will be driven by Robert Kubica and George Russell tomorrow in Gdynia during an event by Orlen. Me and my friends think that might be E20 Lotus 2012.

edit: apparently Russell won’t be here…

an event by Orlen

It looks like Orlen bought an old Lotus somewhere and are borrowing the Williams driver to drive it, because of their sponsorship of the team.

level 2

E21, the passive DRS device ducts on the roll hoop is the give away

level 2

What do you mean Russell won’t be there? He was scheduled to appear no?

level 1

It’s a Lotus from either 2012 or 2013. Why is it in a Williams livery?

Check my comment below. It will be driven by Williams drivers which makes it even more weird – why use a lotus?

level 2

they might have been paid in the old cars for a Lotus debt or something? curious if it still has a Renault in the back too!

level 1

Why is this livery better than their current one

level 2

Because their current one looks half-assed and rushed.

level 2

Because any livery is better than 2019 Williams livery

level 1

At first i thought it was an FW34 but to me it Looks like a lotus E21. Why is it in a weird Williams livery?

Car is an e21. 2013. Picture is from 1987.

level 1

2012 Williams FW34 most likely

level 2

We had this in mind but the FW endplate is different, similar to Lotus of that year.

level 1

It’s weird to see Williams logo on Lotus construction… Very weird feeling.

level 1

It’s a Lotus E21

The dead give away is the ducts for the passive double DRS device next to the Roll hoop.

level 1

It’ll be the Williams FW34 from 2012. That’s the only Williams that had a stepped nose

level 2

The 34 had a wider nose cone, and the upright supports were parallel with each other. It’s the Lotus
