Either Kimi had a shunt with his Motorcross bike or he has been found sleeping on a drain cover this morning, both very likely tbh

Either Kimi had a shunt with his Motorcross bike

I hope he’s ok ?

I was very confused for a second.

Unless Kimi or Gio are right on the cusp of being clear to race, this just reads like a dick move from Alfa

Why pull him from a racing weekend for seemingly no reason??

level 2

Maybe one of the drivers are in doubt, as a reserve driver he would be contractually obligated to stand by just in case. Besides he’s 17th with two races left in a team that would no longer exist next season, probably wanted to make an impression in F1.

Hopefully we’ll see Marcus in action this weekend. Gio is clearly underperforming, he had many opportunities to shine this year but he didn’t (yeah, I’m not a huge fan of him lol). Marcus is a genuine guy and deserves a seat at sauber for next year imho.

level 2

And Ericsson underperformed just as bad in 2018 . Except that he was in his 5th season in F1 compared to Gio in his rookie season . Ericsson does not deserve that Alfa seat .

level 2

Inb4 Marcus dead last in every session.

Tbh I like him and wish him well (Ericsson) but I dont believe he deserves an F1 drive next year. Gio too, as for now.

level 2

So, a driver that “underperformed” for 5 years in a row should take the place of a rookie because the latter is underperforming?

level 1

Conor very much deserves a full time seat in Indycar. Hopefully McLaren will pick him up for next year.

level 1

I’m happy that something is happening.

Grosjean better watch out!
