in attack. On the traditional circuit in Imola, the junior drivers contested a total of four races. In addition to the usual three races, a lost run from Misano was made up. This took place on Sunday evening on the demanding Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

Even in dry conditions, the former Formula One circuit presented the BWT Mücke Motorsport drivers with challenges. Due to the layout, even small mistakes are severely punished, treacherous curbs and gravel beds lurk everywhere. In addition, the track strains the formula cars, so it is easy to damage.

Frank Lucke (Team Leader Formula 4): “Imola was not an easy weekend for us. You can not test enough in advance because the course is very demanding. The track is in and of itself a dream for every driver with the wide gravel beds and the original kind. William Alatalo has made an impressive catch-up in the first race. This shows once again that he is absolutely competitive in race trim. Unfortunately, a rather moderate qualifying affected the overall performance of our pilots. Joshua Dürksen slightly damaged his car in the first qualifying session on the high curbs, which also affected the second session. So the starting position for the races was not that easy. We are satisfied with the development of Erwin Zanotti. Judging by the fact that he has no karting experience, he has increased enormously over the season. He bravely goes into duels, wins them and sometimes he loses them. And most importantly, he finishes the races. It's all part of the learning process. ”
