Over 2 years though, 27.5, which is what, 25 mil euros? I mean, not cheap, but hulk is presumably pretty cheap which probably puts their overall driver salary spend comfortably behind Ferrari and Merc and reasonably ahead of McLaren and redbull, not hugely out of whack. Their overspend is maybe on the order of 7.5 mil euros a year for 19&20. They might actually think that’s a good price for weakening redbull (which losing ricciardo did, significantly).
