They will most likely lose a large part of their HP advantage there though, so whilst they will probably be fastest in S1 they will lose a lot more than they gained in S2 and S3.

What little downfore they have, they will have even less in Mexico. On the straight thats great but in the corners, not so much.

Engine performance will not be much of an advantage in Mexico because of the higher altitude

For anyone wondering, Max didn’t manage to get a fast lap due to traffic issues on the last sector. He had a purple sector 2 up to that point

Yeah i don’t think this FP3 is going to tell us much, i think the Mercedes are quite ahead but we’ve definitely not seen everything of Verstappen, and who knows if Ferrari have much left or not, this may be an exciting Qualy

He did not have a purple 2nd sector up to that point, he had 2 green sectors and was 4 tenths down on Leclerc. He was 3 tenths slower than Leclerc in sector 1 and 1 tenth slower in sector 2

Don’t, he didn’t get his first run in because of the yellow in sector 3 caused by Perez. He only had one flying lap on fresh softs. He’ll be amongst it come Q3.

Too early to say, it’s only fp3,hopefully he will do better in qualifying

I just don’t think he likes the car at all hasn’t found a balance or setup he likes, can’t remember a weekend apart from Canada where he’s been out and out quicker than Leclerc in qualifying and the race.
