Best corner in the world IMO.

level 2

thats raidillion actually

level 1

Will we ever see an f1 race there? Would love to see a race there.

level 2

No way. Never in a million years. The laps would be about 49 seconds long and no one could pass – it is incredibly narrow and small . I’m excited to watch the race on Sunday but I’m also pretty sure it’s gonna be a procession. Also all the upgrades needed to get to grade 1 would kill the character of the track.

level 2

Would need to get that all important FIA Grade 1 status. As it stands it’s Grade 2

level 2

Doubt it, it would need to be a bit bigger and wider. Plus the lap times are really short so they’d likely need to rework the track a bit for that

level 2

It’s too short, F1 cars would be lapping it in 50 seconds

level 2

If you could imagine F1 back on Kyalami, then you could imagine it on Laguna Seca. I can’t imagine either.

level 1

My god, they really are beautiful cars

level 1

Do Indy Car always race at Laguna Seca? Never knew.

level 2

It’s back on the calendar this year for the season finale this weekend They haven’t raced there in years.

level 1

My fave track in Forza Motorsport. That corkscrew is tricky every lap

level 2

Shame that Forza’s rendition is inaccurate

level 2

It’s the perfect example for “slow in fast out” even if you are slightly early on the brakes the drive you get going down the hill is immense when you get on the power early.

level 1

Never thought I’d prefer to see a car go through compared to a motorbike. But here we are.

Fun fact – This corner ended Casey Stoner’s career from Rossi’s move on him and the lack of steward intervention.

I see some parallels with Marquez and Rossi as with Verstappen.
