
Zuniga started for the Sergio Perez Karting Group of workers of the current Formula 1 driver Sergio Perez. He also battled for the Group of workers Montoya of former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya on birth. After three years in karting, Zuniga is now moving into formula racing.
His first races in a formula car are imminent. Zuniga competes with BWT Mücke Motorsport for the F4UAE Championship powered by Abarth, whose season starts this week in the Dubai Autodrome. As part of the 24 Hours from Dubai, the first two runs are on Thursday. Two more races will follow on Friday. The F4UAE Championship powered by Abarth is in its fourth year. The season includes 20 Races on five race weekends, that means four races per weekend. That means a lot of driving experience for karting climbers like Zuniga. The races take place in the Dubai Autodrome and on the Formula 1 circuit in Abu Dhabi, the Yas Marina Circuit.
The F4UAE Championship powered by Abarth season ends in March. Zuniga and BWT Mücke Motorsport will be in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth on Birth from mid-May. The program includes seven racing weekends on the Formula 1 tracks Monza, Hungaroring and Red Bull Ring, as well as in Imola, Vallelunga, Misano and Mugello.
In both racing series, Zuniga aims to gain experience in formula racing and to fight for points in the rookie classification.
