The preparation for the Mercedes-Benz EQ season Formula E teams went to the hot share at the official test drives in Valencia. Nyck de Vries and Stoffel Vandoorne tested on three days (28. and 29. November, December 1st) at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. In the course of the check, the Group of workers 509 put rounds and 1 . 597 km with the new Mercedes-Benz EQ Silver Arrow 02 back. After the official test, the Group of workers will head back to the factory to look forward to the season opener of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on 16. and 17. January in Santiago de Chile.

Stoffel Vandoorne: “Those were three good test days for us, on which we could complete our entire program without any problems – that is very positive compared to the same point in time a year ago. Thanks to We are now working on the findings from last year on the tiny print. In this test, we wanted to unwind our program and not focus too much on the lap times. Instead, we made sure that all processes were working correctly and I have the feeling that usadas succeeded during these three days. That’s what counts. I’m satisfied with the test and am now looking forward to finally racing again. “

Nyck de Vries: “The test in Valencia was the end of our winter test drives. I hope we will be there with are ready for the season opener in Santiago. I am satisfied with our test. Of course it is difficult to get a clear picture of the balance of power. But that wasn’t a priority for usa either. I know it sounds like a cliché, but we were able to pull through our program and gather the information we’d taken out. However, it is difficult to assess where we stand compared to our competition. From my point of view, however, I am very satisfied with the test, especially when I compare it to last year. We are in a much better purpose there. Now we have to analyze the data and use the short stop to be ready for Santiago afterwards. “

Ian James: “The three days of testing were here in Valencia a very good opportunity for us to ensure that we are well prepared for season 7, which will start on 16. January will begin in Santiago de Chile. In the course of the three-day check, we usa focused on our own program that we set out before the test week. We paid particular attention to work on reliability in order to eliminate all teething troubles in the car, and also checked what it looks like in terms of performance. It’s very difficult to get a feel for where we are compared to our competition here in Valencia. All teams have their own programs, which is why we won’t find out where we stand until Santiago. But all in all we are satisfied with the progress made here. “
