They only care about Max success. They only goal is to make Max the youngest WDC. And every other driver who is alongside Max will be forced (directy or indirectly) to number 2 role.

Hamilton was a given for an F1 drive though. Yeah sure he may have been initially planned to be put into Spyker, but he’d been testing F1 cars since 2004 and was part of McLaren’s programme. Albon got let go be Red Bull in 2012 and had very little in the way of funding to get to many places and just about pulled through. This is way more sudden.

He had test driving experience in 2006 so Albon’s run to the top has been quicker
